Setting up the Silent Beacon Application to Call 911 is one of the main questions we are asked and we want to make sure each step is written so you can fully understand how this will work. Setting the Silent Beacon App to 911 is best for people who have the Silent Beacon connected already. You should not ever “test” the 911 feature by calling them with a non-emergency. We advise creating a Contact with the number 411 to “test” then once the call is placed and working, go into your Contacts and delete this and create a 911 Contact.

Navigate to the “Contacts” tab located on the main Manu in the top right area.
Click “Add a Contact” from the bottom of the Contacts Screen.
To add 911 or any number not in your phonebook click Manually add a Contact, to add the contact information of someone already in your phone’s contacts, click Import from Contacts.
If you manually enter a contact or 911, fill in the name, phone number, and email (if needed). If you choose Import from Contacts simply choose the appropriate number from your contacts.
To have your Silent Beacon call the number we just saved you simply hold down the contact and push it to the Emergency Calling area. This allows this Contact to be called, along with any other toggles you may have turned on.
Now if you navigate back to the Main Menu you will see that your contact will be alerted, either by pressing the button inside the App or by alerting via the Silent Beacon.
911 can not be emailed, sent notifications, or in most instances text messages.
