Here is a video on how to connect and pair your Silent Beacon to your Smartphone or Tablet
Fully Charge your Silent Beacon and place it beside the phone or tablet you are connecting it to.
Go into the Main Menu of the Silent Beacon Application and find the Beacon tab in the top middle.
Press the Plus Sign in the middle of the Silent Beacon graphic inside the App. It will begin searching for the Silent Beacon closest to the phone.
The Silent Beacon will blink blue and vibrate 2 times once it has been connected. The App will now show the device paired to your Smartphone, but there are still a few more steps that connect the calling capability.
Now press both buttons on the Silent Beacon device for about 2 seconds, they should blink blue – and will do so for 90 seconds while the device is in pairing mode.
IMPORTANT! If your Silent Beacon starts blinking red, it means that the device was already paired and it is now in emergency alert mode. If you accidentally activate the emergency alert you should notify your emergency contact if there was a false alarm and then go to the home page of the app to deactivate the emergency alert.
Once the Silent Beacon is blinking blue, leave the Silent Beacon app and go to the settings of your smartphone and navigate to the Bluetooth Settings.
Search for SB Alert in discoverable devices. It will be followed by the last 4 digits of your phone number. Press it to Pair.
IMPORTANT! When you connect to SB Alert, it will show as “not connected” in settings as it does in the picture below. This is because beacon calling only shows as connected when a call is being made. You can confirm that it is fully connected by checking the Silent Beacon app to see that it shows “bluetooth paired” and “beacon calling paired”.
Enter the pin 0000 when prompted. This is to allow your Phone to send the call through the Silent Beacon Device.
Navigate back to the Application and now it should show both paired!
