Overview
Once you have charged your Silent Beacon set it beside the Smartphone or Tablet you used to register the App.
Step 1
On the Main Menu of the App, you will see a plus (+) sign in the middle of a grayed-out Silent Beacon. Press the + sign as shown below. This will begin the connection process.
Within 20 seconds your Silent Beacon should connect to the App.
You will know it is connected when the device image shows up and “BEACON CONNECTED” shows up underneath as this illustration below shows.
TIP 1
There is also a (!) icon to the left **** that will show you a video on how to connect.
IMPORTANT!
If the App says “This Beacon is paired to another phone” click here.
IMPORTANT!
If your Silent Beacon does not connect, please check our troubleshooting section.
Step 2
Press both buttons on the Silent Beacon at the same time for about 2 seconds.
You will then see the Silent Beacon blinking blue. This means it is in classic pairing mode, allowing phone calls to be placed during an emergency.
TIP 1
A pop-up screen will explain the steps and show a video in the App.
IMPORTANT!
The blue blinking will only last 90 seconds. At that point, you need to repeat Step 2 to correctly pair the phone to the Silent Beacon Panic Button.
Step 3
Go into your phone or tablet Settings Menu and navigate to the Bluetooth Settings Screen. Below is a view of how they should appear on both Android and Apple.

Android / Tablet
Step 4
Go into your Bluetooth Settings Screen and find the SB ALERT. The SB ALERT will be followed by the last 4 digits of your phone number. Press on SB ALERT.
Step 5
A screen will pop up prompting you to enter a 4-digit pin. This PIN is 0000.
Your Silent Beacon is now connected to your Phone.
Step 6
Navigate back to the Silent Beacon App, it should now say Pairing 2/2 on the main menu.
IMPORTANT!
Once you connect your App to the Silent Beacon you will see it says “SB ALERT Not Connected” This is because the Emergency Alert is ONLY connected once you go into Alert Mode. Silent Beacon is the only option in your Bluetooth Settings that should show Connected normally.
