[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Each year over 40,000 families suffer the tragedy of losing their children and getting injured from ATV (all-terrain vehicle) accidents in the United States. All children under the ages of 16.
More than 5,500 motorcyclists died in 2020 on roads.
Over 100 people die from motor vehicle accidents in the United States daily. Fifty percent of deaths are on two or four wheels. Among these 50 deaths, 25 are the vehicle occupants, and the remaining half are spectators.
These horrifying statistics make Motorsport Safety awareness much, much needed, and that’s why we celebrate Motorsport Awareness Month in August each year. Here are some safety tips that we have reviewed for you;[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”1. Motorsport Safety Course” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;” margin_design_tab_text=””]
Before going on a ride for the first time, make sure you’ve taken all the motorsport courses. These courses are designed for ATV riders, motorcyclists, and all types of motorcar racers. This way, there’s only the slightest chance for you or others to get injured. [/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”2. Alcohol Use” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left” margin_design_tab_text=”” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;”]
Drinking is not healthy. We have made that point clear via much research and studies.
However, consuming alcoholic drinks before/while driving can cause many fatalities. It slows down your response movements and brain functioning and can lead to blurred vision. Eventually, pushing you towards a near-death experience.[/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”3. Speed Check” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;” margin_design_tab_text=””]
All motorsports love one thing — Speed.
Although motorsports allow you to fly over a bolting speed — quite literally, it does not mean you should. We understand how important it is to speed during a motor race; however, it does not always end up good. Speeding your vehicle means losing control. And once the control is lost, it hardly regains. And that is when you crash down, sliding on the road, with the worst waiting for you.
At these times, it is best to carry a personal emergency alert device. [/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”4. Protective Equipment” heading_tag=”h3″ alignment=”left” margin_design_tab_text=”” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;”]
Good protective wear includes; gloves, helmets, thick boots, goggles, sleeves, and pants. However, excellent protective wear is long-lasting, durable, of good quality, provides maximum security, and is….costly.
Yes! If you’re looking for maximum protection, then spending extra few bucks wouldn’t be of much concern. After all, your biggest concern should always be your safety. Therefore, you should never overlook the importance of safety equipment.
Speaking of the importance of safety equipment, who can explain it better than the founder of the Silent Beacon — Kenny Kelly?[/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Kenny Kelly — Journey From Stunts To Silent Beacon™ Panic Button” alignment=”left” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:24px;” margin_design_tab_text=””][/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]From a former stunts man and an ex-motorcycle stunts filmmaker to a survivor of a brutal accident and inventing a personal safety device.
The whole journey seems rather…tangled up.
However, it isn’t.
We all have been in that phase of our lives where a particular moment, event, or incident has greatly impacted us. A moment that made us realize what’s and what’s not important. What’s merely a need, not a want. And what can help us save a life — ours or anyone else’s.
Kenny has been in the same position in his life.
It all started in 2006 when he had a terrible accident. For seconds and minutes, when he laid motionless on the side of the road, Kenny realized how difficult it is to live unguarded — without protection and safety.
How painful it is to fight every shut down in your body and make a move to help yourself out. And yet, you remain motionless, flat on the cold floor, waiting for others to help. How he wished he could contact someone with a press of a button.
Indeed. The time was difficult. The accident was terrific. And the effect was impactful.
That is when the idea of having a personal safety device came to Kenny’s mind! [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Silent Beacon — The Birth Of Kenny Kelly’s Vision” alignment=”left” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:24px;” margin_design_tab_text=””][/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]He envisioned a wearable personal safety device. A life-saving gadget that was much needed, and yet, in the era of booming technology, it was never thought off.
Kenny believes that in this era — where technology has made breathing easier for man, literally and figuratively — the lack of a safety device did seem like a taunt.
What use of a bullet train traveling at the speed of light when we don’t even have a safety tool to protect ourselves?
Indeed, technology should be used for a greater cause.
For that matter, Kenny did his research. He figured out and thought of every possible scenario in which the safety panic device could be handy. From the image of his motionless figure on the floor to the latest incident of a girl’s kidnapping he heard off, he thought of every panicked individual who could have made use of a safety device during the unfortunate moment.
After all, he did not just invent a personal safety device. Instead, he gave the survivors the chance of freedom; to call 911 and their loved ones in unfortunate, deadly situations.
Kenny believes he was lucky enough to survive a motorcycle crash and had help feet away from him. Unlike many others who didn’t. Therefore, he made it his mission to have everyone a ‘button of help’ away from their loved ones.
It is amusing how the born “risk-taker” and stuntman devoted his life to helping everyone out of their ‘risky’ situations. Kenny Kelly would have never thought in his early twenties.
Although Kenny states that he does not have regrets about his past, there was a life lesson he learned from every decision he made and event he experienced — as he calls it, “All those decisions and events made me who I am today.”

That not everything you desire and give importance to actually have value. Sometimes, the ideas and the need to create something strike you when you’re in your most vulnerable state, like how it happened to the founder of Silent Beacon’s Panic Button.
Celebrating this year’s Motorsport Awareness Month in August to spread awareness about the importance of adequate safety and how it could save the lives of young adults and children.
So, wear a piece of extra safety equipment, and always have your Silent Beacon personal safety device by your side. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
